20 Things You Can’t Stand About Clark Atlanta

Being one of four HBCU’s in the country with the distinction of being classified as a high-research institution, securing the number one spot on college lists in high ranking publications and being the most popular university in Atlanta. Yeah, that sounds real good and all but that doesn’t mean that this doesn’t come without some things we can’t stand. Listed below are some things that we just can’t stand in Panther Nation.

1) The type of cheeseburgers being served in the cafe. #unacceptable

2) They stopped letting upperclassmen use freshmen cards to get into the cafe.

3) You have to remind financial aid to post your loan, grant or scholarship information.

4) Above ground pledging is low-key legal.

5) Visitation ends at 11:30pm, even on the weekends.

6) No matter how long she’s known you, Ms. Jesse refused to let you in the cafe if you didn’t have your card.

7) The whiteboards in Carl and Mary Ware haven’t been cleaned since the building was constructed.

8) The Panther Den is more expensive than a meal at the famous Busy Bees Cafe.

9) Famous alumni like Bobby Valentino and Eva Pigford aren’t known to give financially.

10) English professors who cannot speak english.

11) Greek life is too political. It may take you years to become greek. Shoot, you and your mom might even end up being linesisters.

12) The student center is not, well, student centered.

13) It costs money to get into Homecoming festivities.

14) After paying $17,000 for tuition, you still have to pay for laundry.

15) Public safety is just as clueless as you are.

16) Work study is only given to those who are “cool” with the work study counselor.

17) Non Pan-Hel orgs do not get as much respect as they deserve.

18) There is an Alpha behind every great thing that happens on campus.

19) Administration can spend $100,000,000 on a pageant but just can’t seem to get students financially enrolled.

20) Teacher evaluations mean nothing. #nothingatall
